Great things!!

These 3 kids (still kids to me) made me a Mom! I am so proud of each of them and who they are!  I love our friendship and relationship as married adults. We celebrated Aaron’s birthday a couple of weeks ago.  He is the youngest and the grandkids love him! 🙂 Derek topped off his 30^th birthday with taking Aaron to a Phillies game and a Sixers game the same day. You might say they are a bit obsessed! Lol!  Enjoy every moment with your kids as time flies so quickly.  Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I sure did!

There is never a dull moment at Cavod, as we continue to grow and expand, including weddings! LOL!  Caleb Zimmerman, our Hand to Hand Combat teacher married Tiffany who was a gorgeous bride! Caleb can be seen at Cavod in the classroom teaching self-defense or performing on the stage. He’s an amazing actor, and I would expect nothing different, than for him to walk down the aisle, to a Star Wars song! LOL!  It was a beautiful wedding!

We also had our annual Fundraising Banquet at Cavod, which was so beautiful! We raised almost $97,000! I am so grateful for all of our sponsors, donors, families and attendees who made this a great success! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Our vocal group started the evening with singing the familiar hymn, “Holy, Holy, Holy”. Simply beautiful! Our kids shared dances, stories of growing up at Cavod…parents shared powerful testimonies of the impact that Cavod has on their children.  We enjoyed great fellowship, connections and an amazing dinner!  My amazing friend Chris, is pictured with me below.  She is my rock, encourager and bookkeeper/accountant for Cavod!

Our wonderful pre-professional group, Ornate is having a show this Friday, at Mickey’s Black Box Theatre, in Lititz! This is going to be an INSPIRING show!  I am so excited to  share “Passages” with the community! Bring a friend and CLICK HERE for tickets! The details are below!

Many of you have been asking on an update on our new space in Manheim.  I am happy to announce that construction has started! The plumbing is done and the concrete for the floor is being poured this week! The rafters and ceiling will be painted at the end of May and ready for the framing to begin on June 5^th!   Our goal is to have construction completed by July 31^st and moved in by Sunday, August 13 for the dedication, WJTL LIVE, open house, and classes begin August 21^st!  Whew! Prayers are appreciated for God’s financial provision as we raise funds to complete this project and that we would stay on schedule! More pics coming of the progress.

Call upon me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know! Jeremiah 33:3.
