You know we do! We offer several options for summer camps in the arts! Kids camps, musical theatre camps, dance intensive training, a camp for teens and young adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities… and more! All the HOT summer camp info is HERE!
We offer a visitor’s week each year where friends and family are invited into our rooms to observe class. You can come in person or virtually, but classroom visits may only take place during this week. During classes, we invite you to enjoy our café or playroom while you wait for your child.
Please stay home if you are sick…but you don’t have to miss class! All our spaces are equipped with high quality computers, cameras, microphones, and TVs for virtual classes! Only registered students can take virtual classes and they are not available for acro or pointe classes for safety reasons. View our policies for more details.

We offer Risk-Free Registration! How it works: Register and pay. Attend the first class after your registration. Tell us if you don’t love it after you’ve taken your first class (must be before the next class) and we will refund your payment, unenroll your student, or transfer them to a different class.
All of our ballet classes have a required leotard with their dress code that can be purchased at our Cavod Boutique for your convenience! Other dance classes have requirements that are not specific. All class dress code details can be found HERE!

Yes! We take new enrollments all the way through the fall. Please plan to join us before Christmas break! After that our classes are shifting from learning technique to creating class choreography.
The best time to register for the school year is between June and August. You will likely get your choice of classes and you will be able to start at the beginning of the year so you don’t miss any of our great instruction.

Theatre
That’s ok! You do not need to print your tickets. You will be able to check in by reservation name when you arrive at the theatre.
All tickets are non-refundable. If you would like to exchange your tickets for an alternate performance of the same show, there is a $5 per ticket administrative fee and you must contact the theatre no later than 72 hours in advance of the performance you would like to attend. Contact the theatre or email info@cavod.org.
Children ages 4-18 sitting in their own seat must have a purchased ticket. They are eligible for the student ticket price! Children ages 3 and under who are sitting on a lap do not need their own ticket.
Most of our tickets are general admission. For an extra cost, you can purchase ‘reserved seats’ and you will be guaranteed a seat in front section.
General admission means that seats are not assigned ahead of time; they are first come, first serve. You may arrive 45 minutes prior to the performance to choose your own seat when you enter the theatre.

Online sales will close 2 hours prior to each performance. Tickets may still be available for purchase at the door, unless the show has sold out.
The lobby and house opens 45 minutes prior to the performance.
Yes, the building is wheelchair accessible, but not all of the seating is. If you need accommodation, please purchase regular tickets online, and let the office know that you will need wheelchair seating. Yes! We have several volunteer positions for each performance. Volunteers are able to watch the performance they volunteer at, in the volunteer seating section. If you would like to be added to our volunteer list, please email info@cavod.org.
Hip Hop
Ezra leads hip hop in New Holland, and Bella leads hip hop in Manheim. Both share a love for rhythm and help every student grow in skill and character.
Teen/Adult Hip Hop welcomes dancers 14 and up at both campuses, at a relaxed pace for beginner and intermediate levels. Adult hip hop classes follow a simple dress code: an athletic shirt that covers the torso, leggings or joggers, and sneakers you don’t wear outdoors.
Hip hop students perform in the Spring Dance Concert, where family and friends watch them dance what they’ve practiced all year. Each class carries a $70 to $95 costume fee, with a $40 deposit due in October.
Cavod accepts new students through the fall. Join before Christmas break, since classes switch from teaching new skills to preparing for the spring performance after that.
Not at all. Junior Hip Hop, Hip Hop 1, and Teen/Adult Hip Hop welcome beginners, so your child can start dancing in their very first class.
Kids’ hip hop classes start at age 5 with Junior Hip Hop, which serves ages 5 to 8. Children 9 and older start in Hip Hop 1, and teens 14 and up can join Teen/Adult Hip Hop.
Offer a light snack one to two hours before class, such as fruit, yogurt, or whole-grain crackers, for steady energy. Skip heavy, greasy, or very sugary foods right before class, and pack a water bottle.

Your child wears black joggers, sweatpants, longer athletic shorts, or leggings with a solid, plain shirt or Cavod t-shirt. The dress code rules out short shorts and jeans, and girls wear a leotard or sports bra under their shirt.
Every dancer needs fully white, low-top, flat sneakers saved for studio use only. Pull hair back in a ponytail or bun, and check the Dress Code page for approved sneaker styles.
Absolutely. Cavod’s mission is to offer a Godly environment that inspires excellence in the arts, and hip hop classes follow that mission. Instructors choose clean, family-appropriate music, and the dress code keeps every dancer covered and comfortable.
Your child learns to count music, dance in time, and control each part of the body. Throughout the year, they build strength, coordination, and the pride of performing a full routine in front of loved ones.
Ballet
Upper levels prepare dancers to pursue college dance programs or company trainee programs after high school. Teachers blend three established ballet training methods, Cecchetti, ABT, and Vaganova, so dancers learn each step correctly and perform it with artistry.
Pre-Pointe starts at age 10, and Pointe 1 to 3 start at age 12. On the class list, Ballet 2B includes pre-pointe, and Ballet 3, 4, and 5 include pointe.
Boys Technique 1 welcomes boys 9 and up, and Boys Technique 2 serves boys 12 and up, both in New Holland. Boys wear black tights, a fitted white shirt, and black ballet slippers.
Adults can absolutely start ballet, and Cavod’s Teen/Adult Ballet classes welcome dancers 14 and up at both campuses. Choose Teen/Adult Ballet 1 or 2 in New Holland, or Teen/Adult Ballet in Manheim on Thursday evenings.
Wear a leotard alone or under a fitted athletic shirt, with leggings, joggers, or longer athletic shorts. Tights and a ballet skirt are optional, but ballet slippers are required.

Creative Movement dancers wear a pink skirted leotard, Primary 1 wears lavender, and Primary 2 wears blue, all from the Cavod Boutique at the front desk. Each outfit pairs with pink tights, pink ballet slippers, and hair in a neat bun.
Ballet 1 to 5 dancers wear a solid black leotard with pink tights and slippers, and boys wear black tights with a fitted white shirt. The Dress Code page lists every item, and comfortable, form-fitting clothes work until you buy boutique items.
