Theatre FAQs and Policies

What if I can’t print my tickets?

That’s ok! You do not need to print your tickets. You will be able to check in by reservation name when you arrive at the theatre.

If I am unable to attend, can I exchange or refund my tickets?

All tickets are non-refundable. If you would like to exchange your tickets for an alternate performance of the same show, you must contact the theatre no later than 72 hours prior to the date printed on the tickets in your possession for a fee of $5 per ticket. You can call (717) 354-3355 Monday–Thursday, 11am–8pm, or email info@cavod.org

Do I have to purchase a ticket for my child?

Children ages 4-18 sitting in their own seat must have a purchased ticket. They are eligible for the student ticket price! Children ages 3 and under who are sitting on a lap do not need their own ticket.

Can I reserve a specific seat?

Most of our tickets are general admission. For an extra cost, you can purchase ‘reserved seats’ and you will have your name on your seat guaranteed in the first few rows. We will assign seats based on time of purchase.

What does general admission mean?

General admission means that seats are not assigned ahead of time; they are first come, first served. You may arrive 45 minutes prior to the performance to choose your own seat when you enter the theatre.

I have purchased tickets online but have not received a confirmation e-mail. Does this mean my purchase has not gone through?

Perhaps. Please allow 72 hours for your confirmation email to be sent to you. Please also check that your email was not sent to a spam folder. If you have still not received your email, please contact the office at (717) 354-3355 Monday–Thursday, 11am–8pm, or email info@cavod.org so we can confirm your purchase.

What is the deadline to purchase tickets online?

Online sales will close 2 hours prior to each performance. Tickets may still be available for purchase at the door, unless the show has sold out.

What time should I arrive at the theatre?

The lobby and house opens 45 minutes prior to the performance.

Is the theatre wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the building is wheelchair accessible, but not all of the seating is. If you need accommodation, please purchase regular tickets online, and let the office know that your party will need wheelchair seating. You can call (717) 354-3355 Monday–Thursday, 11am–8pm, or email info@cavod.org.

Can I take pictures or record the performance?

The use of cameras, video equipment, phones, and other recording devices is strictly prohibited during all performances.

Can I put advertisements for my company in your program?

Yes! Please call (717) 354-3355 Monday–Thursday, 11am–8pm, or email info@cavod.org for details on placing an ad in our programs.

Can I volunteer to work at the theatre?

Yes! We have several volunteer positions for each performance. Volunteers are able to watch the performance at which they volunteer, in the volunteer seating section. If you would like information about volunteering, please email info@cavod.org.
