A few of my favorite things!

A couple of weeks ago, Dave & I went on a road trip to Indiana to visit Paul, my oldest brother and his wife Ellie in Indiana! I was the flower girl in their wedding. He will always be my big brother. It was such a good time sharing and reconnecting! 

This week is a HUGE week for Cavod, as we have a Day of ThanksGIVING, Friday, November 17^th!

We are doing our own fundraiser that day, where there are no fees! Our goal is $80,000 for this important event! I have $32,500 in matching funds to date with a goal of $40,000 by Friday, so every gift is doubled when given!!

We end this wonderful day on Friday by having a party at Cavod! We have a DJ, performances every 15 minutes, free pizza, food and fun! It starts at 6:00pm, and ends with a time of worship at 9:00pm. Everyone is welcome to celebrate with us what the Lord has done! Stop by and say hello, anytime from 6:00-10:00pm. Your prayers for this event would be greatly appreciated. 

Speaking of favorite things…the “Sound of Music” rehearsals are in full swing, at Cavod Theatre! So very exciting! We open December 1^st with a Dinner Theatre that supports the show, with a beautiful sit-down dinner and special appearances by a few cast members! Tickets are $100 per person, or sponsor a table for $800 and have your name and/or your business displayed on the table! It will be showing from Dec 1^st-Dec.3^rd and Dec. 8^th-10^th.

Here is a verse that is so meaningful for you to mediate on this week with a cup of coffee!

Philippians 1:6  Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you

will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ!  

God is not looking for perfection, but for obedience, and faith to know that He IS WORKING in our lives, as we live a life of surrender and devotion to Him! 

Prayer: And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and WITHOUT offense till the day of Christ. Being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 1:9-11.
