My heart was bursting with joy, as our kids, in-laws and grandkids came home for Thanksgiving! Our table was full of laughter and excitement as all 19 were there. I was so busy cooking, that I didn’t take many pictures, though. Aaah. My favorites quotes of the day…”Grandma, your corn is the best!” “Grandma has become independent lately”, referring to my cooking. Not sure if that was the correct use of independent! Lol! I love their little chatters, and the things they say.

And there is nothing like a family football game outside to work off a big turkey dinner! Of course we couldn’t miss the Giants vs Cowboys game in the afternoon. We enjoyed little Andreas…the baby grandchild, as he sang, danced and gave us lots of laughs and entertainment. We have so much to be thankful for!

Friday, November 18^th was our day of ThanksGIVING at Cavod. What a wonderful and exciting day, as we raised funds for the ministry, and celebrated in the evening! A huge THANK YOU!! to everyone who contributed! We raised $73,000!! Simply amazing!!! We ended the evening with pizza, performances, a DJ, dance party, and worship. I am so thankful for our sponsors and our Cavod family!! You are a blessing! It takes a village to make a difference in the lives of our kids and change the culture of the arts! That’s what it’s all about!
