At Cavod Performing Arts, we offer dance classes for ages 3 through adults every Monday-Thursday in New Holland and Manheim. With options for beginner dancers all the way to advanced, Cavod makes it easy to find dance lessons near you that fit your goals and schedule

We believe dance is a powerful way for students to express themselves through movement and music. Our mission is to offer a Godly environment that inspires excellence in the arts to build community and impact lives. We uphold this mission in each of our classes by making sure all music and choreography is free from sensual and provocative influences and by fostering a community where each student feels safe, loved, and accepted.

I am so happy to have found Cavod, a place I can trust with the amazing gift of dance as worship and expression of who God made each one to be! Huge thanks to Connie and all the Cavod teachers for being steadfast leaders of the kids and adults in our community who step out and vulnerably to try something new. I’m 51 years old and I decided to try a dance class for the first time: worship dance. My daughter is 18 and she started various dance classes at Cavod when she was 16. Thank you Cavod for welcoming every age group. Thank you for caring about skills and hearts /lives of each dancer.

The best time to register for the school year is between June and August. You will be more likely get your choice of dance classes and you will be able to start at the beginning of the year so you don’t miss any of our great instruction. View our calendar here for more details on when to join.
Well, we don’t have “Performing Arts” in our name for nothing! Dance and Acro classes perform in the Spring Dance Concert in June. In addition to selling tickets to that off-site performance, there is a costume fee due in the fall and we do a fundraiser to help offset the costs for you.

Yes, CAVOD has a dress code for its dance classes. Students are expected to wear appropriate dance attire and shoes, as well as follow specific guidelines for hair and jewelry. View our policy on dress for dance classes here

About Cavod

Cavod currently offers a variety of performance art classes in dance, acting, music, acrobatics, and more. These courses are designed to provide students with an opportunity to explore the arts while challenging them to achieve a standard of excellence. As students strive to attain excellence in their art, they also learn skills such as patience, perseverance, self-discipline and teamwork. As a result, they gain confidence and they have lots of fun in the process!
