Students are expected to remain in the level between 1-2 years. Prior experience in Creative Movement is recommended; however, students may enter this level without taking Creative Movement based on their experience, body awareness, and ability to follow directions. Goals for students in this level include learning how to stand in a poised manner, understanding spatial instructions, and dancing musically and rhythmically.

I am so happy to have found Cavod, a place I can trust with the amazing gift of dance as worship and expression of who God made each one to be! Huge thanks to Connie and all the Cavod teachers for being steadfast leaders of the kids and adults in our community who step out and vulnerably to try something new. I’m 51 years old and I decided to try a dance class for the first time: worship dance. My daughter is 18 and she started various dance classes at Cavod when she was 16. Thank you Cavod for welcoming every age group. Thank you for caring about skills and hearts /lives of each dancer.

CAVOD has been an incredible addition to the town of Manheim. We love how these classes not only inspire our kids to move physically and use their God given talents and gifts as Dancers, musicians and actors but also speak to their hearts and spirits as well as unique chilldren of God. All the teachers are highly qualified and trained in their specialties and every staff member/volunteer is friendly and helpful to assist. The facility is clean and bright with high quality technology and a comfortable cafe to wait for your children during class.

Cavod believes that by combining the strengths of foundational schools of dance such as Cecchetti, ABT, and Vaganova Syllabli, we can finely tune our students so that they are ready to enter the world of dance. In showing the proper execution of each step and the artistry of each movement, we can train a generation of diverse and well-rounded ballet dancers so that they are ready to pursue a professional dance career.   Register for a ballet class here
Well, we don’t have “Performing Arts” in our name for nothing! Dance and Acro classes perform in the Spring Dance Concert in June. In addition to selling tickets to that off-site performance, there is a costume fee due in the fall and we do a fundraiser to help offset the costs for you.  
We offer a visitor’s week each year where friends and family are invited into our rooms to observe class. You can come in person or virtually, but classroom visits may only take place during this week. During classes, we invite you to enjoy our café or playroom while you wait for your child.
Cavod offers Ballet Classes at their New Holland, PA, and Manheim, PA locations.
