Students are expected to remain in this level between 1-2 years. In this class, your young mover will begin to learn the foundations of Ballet through imaginative concepts that will encourage the development of fine motor skills, classroom etiquette, and overall body awareness. Goals for students in this level include learning how to stand in a poised manner, correct arm placement, and always finding joy in each movement. 

*All students must be potty trained.

My daughter has been attending Cavod for 2 years. I cannot say enough good things about the teachers and front desk. Allison at the front desk helped my daughter through a few tough few months, as well as Hope and Zoey. They prayed with her, encouraged her, and gave her the confidence and hope she needed to perform this year. Because of their commitment and spirit filled leading my daughter is stronger not only in her dancing skills, but in her faith. Truely life changing stuff going on here. Highly recommend.

Faith based company that is great for all ages. They have many different forms of dance and lessons for musical instruments available.

I am so happy to have found Cavod, a place I can trust with the amazing gift of dance as worship and expression of who God made each one to be! Huge thanks to Connie and all the Cavod teachers for being steadfast leaders of the kids and adults in our community who step out and vulnerably to try something new. I’m 51 years old and I decided to try a dance class for the first time: worship dance. My daughter is 18 and she started various dance classes at Cavod when she was 16. Thank you Cavod for welcoming every age group. Thank you for caring about skills and hearts /lives of each dancer.

The best time to register for the school year is between June and August. You will be more likely get your choice of dance classes and you will be able to start at the beginning of the year so you don’t miss any of our great instruction. View our calendar here for more details on when to join.
Well, we don’t have “Performing Arts” in our name for nothing! Dance and Acro classes perform in the Spring Dance Concert in June. In addition to selling tickets to that off-site performance, there is a costume fee due in the fall and we do a fundraiser to help offset the costs for you.

Yes, CAVOD has a dress code for its dance classes. Students are expected to wear appropriate dance attire and shoes, as well as follow specific guidelines for hair and jewelry. View our policy on dress for dance classes here
