Special Edition! – 20 YEARS!

What a week we had celebrating Cavod’s 20 years in existence! On Wednesday, Eve. Feb. 5^th, Gary & June Reynolds hosted a reception for my book signing for our top donors, along with our family. It was an exquisite evening with food and fellowship!

Larry & Elva Martin were our first landlords and made it possible for Cavod to move into New Holland. We rented a space from them, in the front of Keystone Motors, which was known as Martin’s Auto back then. It was so great to have them there!

It was a big week!

It was a big week! We had our 20^th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, February 8^th, at the Worship Center, in Leola. The Lord answered our prayers by pushing back the ice storm until the evening! We had about 800 people in attendance!

Everyone picked up a free bag at the welcome table and a passport that was stamped at each exhibit. They also got a cute party favor at each one.

Exhibit 3 – Our present location, Cavod Performing Arts – New Holland

Exhibit 4 – Cavod Theatre which is in New Holland

Exhibit 5 – Cavod Performing Arts – Manheim

For Exhibit 6 – Barn To Stage – The title of my book that was just released! It is the story about my challenges as a little girl, my journey… and how God opened the door for me to start Cavod. I gave out little pigs for favors and signed lots of books. You can purchase your copy at Cavod for a donation of $15 or on Amazon. All proceeds go towards the ministry of Cavod.

Exhibit 7 – Thank you & Prizes! Our attendees wrote a blessing on canvas and picked up a raffle ticket to enter a drawing to win some great prizes

Exhibit 8 – Friends In Motion – our program for kids, teens, and adults with intellectual disabilities

Exhibit 9 – Merch Through the Years – displaying the many t-shirts we had and our current t-shirts and sweatshirts that were for sale.

Exhibit 10 – Citylight Dance Theatre – Our young students and teens who train to do local outreaches and performances

Exhibit 11 – Ornate Dance Theatre – Our professional team, a training and performance team for young adults after graduation. They perform locally and internationally.

Exhibit 12 – Cavod Missions – We are passionate about sharing the gospel around the globe!

We do a summer camp almost every year internationally for underprivileged children.

There were about 130 volunteers and performers! What a blessing! It took a village to pull this special event off! Below is a picture of some of them, as we gathered posed for a picture around the cake! A huge thank you to those who made it all happen!

We ended this special day with a celebration that included videos, dances, testimonies, theatre, music, and ending in worship for all that the Lord has done!
