Happy New Year! As I sit with a warm cup of coffee, I’m filled with gratitude reflecting on what a wonderful year 2025 was and all that God has done. I trust this finds you encouraged as we step into a brand-new year together.

I hope you enjoyed the beautiful snow this past weekend. That unexpected gift of winter gave us a couple of extra days off at Cavod and felt like permission to slow down. Dave and I treasured the time at home, resting, catching up, and simply being together.

As we return from the Christmas break to Cavod, we are off to a great start of the New Year and there is so much happening already! Last week was an exciting one at Cavod as we hosted Family Observation Week. Loved ones were invited to sit in and observe classes and I was truly blown away! Our students rose to the occasion, performing with confidence and excellence, and our teachers did an outstanding job cultivating an environment where growth and joy were so evident. It was a beautiful reminder of the heart of Cavod and the community we are building together.

One special highlight is this weekend only… our Citylight outreach team will be performing at Cavod Theatre! Their dance concert, Fix Your Eyes, is powerful and timely. In a season filled with turmoil and division, this beautiful evening of worship through movement points our hearts back to Jesus. You will surely be blessed and encouraged! IT’S GOING TO BE POWERFUL!

We are also deeply grateful for the opportunity to be in Manheim and for the exciting expansion underway. Construction is moving along quickly… concrete has been poured, framing is up, electrical work has begun, and HVAC is underway. We are so thankful for each partner and for God’s provision every step of the way. More updates soon!

As I enter the new year, the Lord has impressed three words on my heart:

Focus — eliminating distractions and pressing forward – passionately pursuing intimacy with our Heavenly Father. Phil. 3:12-14

Remain — staying in His presence, learning to rest, listen, and be still before Him. The Spirit helps us in our weaknesses… Romans 8:26

Grateful — cultivating a thankful heart, knowing gratitude reshapes our outlook and keeps us surrendered. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and minds through Christ Jesus! Phil. 4:6

Ephesians 3:20 is my verse for the year!

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory… to all generations… AMEN!

I KNOW that HE wants to do the IMPOSSIBLE THINGS! Stand by…
