One for the mouth, and one for the house….repeat…and that’s how we decorate our gingerbread houses! 😊
It’s a favorite tradition we do with our grandchildren every year. It’s so cool to see each one’s creativity, with their unique personalities coming out in their decorations. We give them new Christmas pjs and we attempt to take a picture together….which is quite an accomplishment with 10 grandchildren! LOL! (#11,Baby Andreas, didn’t make the picture below.) 😊 They enjoy my homemade chicken corn soup, watching “Elf”, and a sleepover! And then the clean-up is massive the next day, but we don’t care! It’s so worth it!
Oh how I love their innocence, laughter and unconditional love. It reminds me of how God is towards us. He treasures us, no matter the messes we make. He loves us, and only He can satisfy our deepest longings…not sex, food, business or even success. The Lord gives us life, peace, and forgiveness in every situation. I feel so inspired this morning as I reflect on His faithfulness this past year…even in the midst of a pandemic! He is so good!
Cavod has been blessed just the same.
God’s presence, His goodness and joy has been present in every part of Cavod! It would take pages to document His blessings and answers to prayer in 2021! It hasn’t always been easy, but we have seen God work in the midst of adversity. Students have been healed, new friendships have been established, kids have found new confidence in themselves and in the Lord…just to name a few! We’ve added more students to the Cavod Family and opened up a new studio in Manheim! We have more people giving, and understanding the arts and importance of a community such as Cavod. In December, a few sponsors heard the need of replacing our studio floors and gave over $32,000! THANK YOU, for a tremendous year!! Pictures are coming soon! Incredible! Many of you have been a blessing through your encouraging emails, kind words and prayers! THANK YOU!
As I look to the next 12 months, I am excited about the growth that I will experience personally and also Cavod. I love setting goals in January to gear up for the New Year. What do you want to accomplish in 2022? I will share a few of mine in my next email. My business coach, sent me a quote this morning from Carl Lewis…”If you don’t have confidence, you’ll always find a way not to win.” Wow! So true!
Prayer – “Dear Lord, thank you for your blessings and for bringing us through another year. We pray for those who are hurting, sick and need a touch from you today. Please bring your peace, healing and comfort. May we find rest and renewed strength for 2022. May our hearts be fixed on you, with fresh vision to be and do all that you want us to do this year! We love you! In Jesus Name, Amen!”
Take a deep breath, smell the coffee and have a wonderful week…and a GREAT NEW YEAR!!!
Much love,
