What to Expect for Your First Month at CAVOD!

A Warm Welcome to Our CAVOD Family!
Walk through our doors in New Holland or Manheim, and you’ll feel the buzz of excitement. Our staff will greet you at the front desk, and every instructor, from ballet to tap, can’t wait to meet you! You’ll quickly find yourself sharing laughs in the hallway, spotting friendly faces in class, and building connections that turn fellow students into friends. At CAVOD, we believe that great artistry grows from a supportive community!

Finding Your Groove (and Your Schedule)
Your class lineup might look different than that old printed copy; names, times, age ranges, or locations could have shifted. To make sure you’re in the right studio, check cavod.org for the latest schedule or pick up a fresh copy at either location. Soon enough, you’ll be navigating the hallways with ease!

Virtual Classes & the Parent Portal

When life throws you a curveball (illness, transportation delays, or other emergencies) our virtual class option keeps you connected. Find your class links, billing details, messages, and absence reporting tools all in one place: your Parent Portal. Please note that acro, pointe, and stage combat remain in-person for safety, and occasional tech hiccups are part of the deal.

Tuition, Attire & Studio Logistics
Tuition for your first month is due now, with the next payment scheduled for October 1. Payments incur a $20 late fee after the 10th, but auto-pay makes billing worry-free, just let us know if you’d like to set it up. While you gather leotards, tights, and jazz shoes, we’ll be flexible on dress code for the first few weeks. Remember to bring street shoes to change into and out of the studios. At New Holland, curbside drop-off should face the building; at Manheim, please walk younger students safely to the front door.

Fueling Up and Key Dates
Refuel after class at our Cavod Café (Mon–Thurs, 4–8 PM) with smoothies, snacks, and free Wi-Fi! Perfect for getting some homework done between classes, waiting for your child to get out of class, or simply catching up! Don’t forget we’re closed on Labor Day, September 1, but you can always consult our full calendar online for all holiday breaks and special events!
