Remembering, Rejoicing & Looking Ahead!
Happy Memorial Day!
I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend! As we pause to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom, my heart is filled with deep gratitude. What a gift it is to live in this country because of such a sacrifice!
Dave and I kept up our yearly tradition of camping at Yogi Bear Campground over the holiday weekend. We always invite our grandchildren to join us for a couple of days and this year we had 9 of our 11 there, which made it extra special! It rained the entire weekend… but somehow that didn’t stop the fun. We made the most of it with games, swimming (yes, even in the cold!), meaningful conversations, and cozy movie nights.

Candy bingo is always such a hit, and yes this grandma won, too! Lol!

Dave and I were also able to enjoy a couple quieter days together at the end, which was fun! We were able to squeeze in a camp fire with the Phillies game 😊 and a couple of rounds of Rummikub. Rain or shine, these are the moments that become treasured memories!

Looking back on May, one of the highlights for Dave and me was simply… laughter. Scripture tells us, “A cheerful heart is good medicine” Proverbs 17:22, and we experienced that firsthand at Nate Bargatze’s show in Hershey. Our daughter Tahnya and her husband Rich, along with their family, gave us tickets for Christmas, and what a gift it was! A clean, genuinely funny show that had us laughing from start to finish! It reminded me how important it is to make space for joy and fun in our lives. Sometimes we just need to laugh!😊

And… drum roll please! We are thrilled to share that our 2026–2027 class schedule is officially complete for both locations… all three buildings, including our expansion! We are so excited to be offering more classes, more levels, and more opportunities than ever before. Registration opens June 1st, so be sure to grab your spot early as classes fill quickly and we would love for you to get your first choice! Here is the direct link to see all of our offerings and to register!
Here at Cavod Performing Arts, we are heading into our final two weeks of classes. There’s an energy and excitement in the air as students prepare for our dance concert, music recitals, and year-end theatre showcases. It has truly been a great year! We are so grateful for each student and family who walks through our doors. At Cavod, we are committed to creating a place where every student is seen, valued, and encouraged to grow… not just in their craft, but in confidence, character and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ!
We would love for you to join us as we celebrate all that has been accomplished this year! Our dance concert at LMH is just around the corner, and everyone is welcome! It’s always such a special time to see these students shine on stage.
