On the Move!

I moved my office to a beautiful outdoor setting in sunny Florida…for one week! LOL! Well, if you need to work on vacation, this is the perfect setting! 😊 We enjoyed getting some R&R, in the warm weather! A few of my favorite things were…spending time with dear friends, drinking coffee at my favorite café…Postal 98, spa day with the ladies, laying in the sun, journaling, as well as catching up on work. I am learning how important personal care is. We are back with a “new lease” on life, just in time for a weekend of shows at Cavod.

“Snow White” was absolutely beautiful! It was so great to see how the director, Steph Morales, put a twist on this show that brought it to life in a positive and inspiring way! Wow! Our dancers were beautiful and entertaining! A huge thank you to our students, parents, volunteers and production team for another amazing production! Many of you supported Cavod Theatre, by purchasing tickets, purchasing concessions, telling your friends, and coming out to the show! Thank YOU so much!!

So, what is next at Cavod? Our annual Fundraising Banquet, on Friday Evening, May 6^th, at SUPPLY in Manheim! We are pumped for our biggest event of the year! Our theme this year is “The Faithfulness of God”, as we journey back through time, almost 18 years ago… to the very first location in a barn on the Welsh Mountain! Through video we will take you to our previous locations, and share with you how Cavod began, and where we are going! It will be an evening to remember, in a gorgeous setting, with an elaborate dinner catered by JDK, entertainment by our talented students, and a few surprises!

If you are not able to be there, you can still DONATE, to help us reach our fundraising goal of $110,000! Every gift, large or small makes a difference, to help Cavod finish strong this school year. Without donors, we would not be able to provide a place for the community to “Create With Purpose” and find their God-given talents. The arts continue to be cut in schools, and many kids and adults need a Christ centered place to find their identity and purpose! Prayer – “Thank you Lord for being so faithful in our lives. Your mercies are NEW every morning! Great is your faithfulness, oh God! You go before us and MAKE A WAY in the wilderness, and STREAMS in the dessert! Expand our capacity to BELIEVE and TRUST you. You make all things NEW, and give us HOPE! Thank you Lord, in Jesus Name, Amen!”

One of my very favorite verses is in Jeremiah 33:3…CALL upon me, and I will show you great and might things that you do not know! And my husband always adds…”and cannot figure out, or understand! You have many surprises for us!”

Take courage my friends! Place your hope in the Lord! We have reason to rejoice and have a great week, with a cup of coffee of course! 😊
