Group Singing Classes

Cavod Vocal Technique and Harmony 2 students rehearsing at Cavod Performing Arts.

What are Vocal Technique and Harmony Classes?

Vocal Technique and Harmony is a group voice class that will cover music theory, music reading, sight-singing, vocal technique, and group singing in harmony with a musical theatre and worship focus.

Students of all skill levels will learn how to develop good singing technique for safe, long term, singing—essential for any singer who wants to perform. They will also practice sight singing, learning new music, and staying on a harmony part when singing in choruses, ensembles, and musicals.

Vocal Technique and Harmony classes will help students expand their comfort zones in order to gain more strength and enjoyment when performing on stage, going to auditions, singing in church, or public speaking. The goal of this class is to aid singers in becoming independent and confident musicians in a safe group setting!

The class will help the singer become a stronger and more independent musician by explaining music theory, increasing sight singing ability, understanding chords and keys, practicing for auditions, and getting individual coaching on their technique. This is a safe space to conquer stage fright and find deeper expression for the song. Singers in this class will sing together as well as separately and will focus on gaining stronger skills as an overall musician.   Click to view Cavod's class list
Group singing classes give students the benefits of private voice lessons, music theory class, choir experience, and hands on audition prep all in one.
