46 Years, A Love Story and Exciting Cavod Updates!

Yesterday marked 46 years since I was smitten and fell in love with the man of my dreams! Dave has been my rock, my best friend, and my greatest blessing through both the joys and the challenges of life. Only by God’s grace are we here today, enjoying life together as empty nesters, cherishing our family, and continuing this journey side by side. Our relationship is a little bit like cheese…with age it just gets better and better! LOL!

A fun fact… I made my own wedding dress with a zillion covered buttons! LOL!

We had a wonderful time celebrating on Friday evening with our dear friends and mentors, Larry & LaVerne Kreider—so much laughter, sharing, and fun!

Cavod Updates 🎭✨

We just wrapped up a phenomenal two-weekend run of The Hunchback of Notre Dame! With 6 out of 8 shows sold out and only 42 tickets left in total, it was an unforgettable production. The 49-member cast, along with our incredible production team, brought a show to life that had audiences crying, laughing, and leaving inspired by God’s tremendous love.

And now… Footloose: Youth Edition is in full rehearsal mode! 🎶 This talented cast, coming from all over Lancaster County, is ready to light up the Cavod stage April 11-13. Get your tickets soon—we anticipate another sold-out run!

Also, May 2^nd is our annual Gala Fundraising Banquet, Ignite, at Cavod Theatre! This is an exclusive, limited-seating event. If you’d like to be a sponsor or purchase tickets, please reach out to me directly, as this event is not publicly advertised.

Meditation ☕

I have been pondering Romans 12:2 recently:

And do not be conformed to this world,

but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,

that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Through Jesus, we have the power to transform our minds—replacing negativity and unbelief with thoughts of hope and trust in Him! But if we don’t renew our minds with His Word—choosing to reject negative thoughts and replace them with Scripture and God’s truth about who we are—we may never fully step into the victory He has already given us. This truth has been life-changing for me, and I pray it encourages you as well!
