Love & Laughter!

My grandchildren continue to make me smile! Cool Andreas, basketball games, breakfast with sweet Seth, and a huge hug, with “I love you Grandma” are a few of my favorite things. Oh how they love, unconditionally!
Our family celebrated our oldest grandson, Micah, and our son-in-law Richard’s birthdays on Saturday night. How do we have a grandson that is 18? Time just flies! I only took one picture. There was so much excitement and craziness as the grands love being together…and that is what makes this grandma’s heart “sing”!
Cavod is also a place where my heart is singing, literally!! February was a busy month at Cavod Theatre!
Here’s a brief recap…
February 5-6 Citylight Dance Theatre -our outreach team had their winter concert “Rooted”. Such a beautiful performance and worship time as they shared their passion for the Lord through dance!
February 11th – South Africa Benefit Dance Concert where our teachers performed to raise money for our missions team going to Capetown, South Africa in April! Our students were inspired as they watched their teachers sing and dance…and Caleb & Amy, our piano instructors battled it out on the pianos! Love, love our talented staff! Below is a photo of our South Africa Team. More details in the coming weeks.
February 14th – Heart of Gold – Valentines Fundraising banquet with the Motorcyle group that rides together. This event was hosted and sponsored by Earl & Verna Martin & Wolfe & Arlene Andrews! All of the money that was raised that night went directly to Cavod! I am so thankful for the tremendous support!
February 24th – Hello Dolly! Opened with a beautiful dinner theatre, which was a fundraiser for the show! A shout out to following friends who sponsored a table, to make it a successful night, and a beautiful show!

Let me tell you about the show, “Hello Dolly”. It is such a talented cast and is HILARIOUS!! A few comments from our patrons, this weekend were, “It was the best show, ever at Cavod, and I’ve seen them all!” “I have not laughed that hard in a long time!” “The dancing, sets and everything is so professional! I will definitely be back!”
