Shenandoah Hall

Shenandoah (Shenan) has been part of the Cavod community since 2012 and shares her passion for dance through teaching Acro, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Worship. She began assisting classes through Cavod’s TA program in 2015 and transitioned to teaching in 2021 after earning her Module 1 Acrobatic Arts certification. She later achieved her Module 2 certification with a grade of distinction in 2022 and Preschool Acrobatic Arts certification in 2024. Shenan has expanded her training through Cavod’s Summer Dance Intensives, the Joffrey Pre-Professional Contemporary Intensive, the Premier Tap Intensive, and drop-in classes at Steps on Broadway. She served as Dance Captain and a featured dancer in Cavod’s Broadway adaptation of Mary Poppins and has performed with Cavod’s Citylight Dance Theatre for four years, Catalyst Dance Company during the 2020–2021 season, and now with Ornate Dance Theatre where she is currently a company artist and administrative assistant for the 2024/2025 season. Shenan has had the opportunity to perform locally, in Times Square, and internationally in South Africa, Brazil, and Switzerland, partnering with churches and communities to host arts camps and outreach performances. She is excited to return to South Africa and visit Kenya for the first time in summer 2025 alongside Ornate and the Cavod Mission Team. Shenan’s hope is to foster a community where students can feel valued and pursue excellence while embracing who the Lord has created them to be as dancers and artists. Her experiences at Cavod and Ornate have shaped her as both an artist, allowing her to combine her passion for dance with her heart for ministry. Shenan is deeply grateful for the teachers and mentors who have guided her journey and feels called to inspire students and communities locally and globally, using dance as a ministry for God’s glory.
