Alex Pobiedzinski

Alexandra Pobiedzinski, originally from the U.K., is a dancer, choreographer and teaching artist who recently relocated to Lancaster from the Lehigh Valley. An avid arts advocate, Alex co-founded and co-directs the Lehigh Valley Dance Exchange (LVDE), an organization that seeks to connect artists by providing a platform for performance, choreographic and educational opportunities in order to cultivate a thriving professional dance hub in the Lehigh Valley, and now she has begun work to build those same bridges to help lift up the vibrant Lancaster dance community into which she has excitedly put down new roots.
In 2009, she founded danceETHOS Performance Company with whom she performed and presented her work both regionally and nationally. With over 20 years of experience teaching and choreographing for numerous companies, universities and studios, she believes in an artistically and technically rigorous teaching philosophy and fosters a classroom environment where creativity can thrive and individuality is nurtured.
Passionate about the unifying and transcendent power of the arts, she is dedicated to creating a welcoming, safe, and inclusive space for students of all ages and abilities and seeks to make the arts accessible to all audiences. Alex is so thrilled to be a part of Cavod and ORNATE’s vision and community! She looks forward to nurturing the growth and potential of each student as she helps to guide them on their journey to fulfill their unique God-given gifts through the pursuit of purpose, heart, and excellence in dance at all levels.
