Junior Acro is a foundational acro class for students between ages 6-8 years old. Junior Acro is a beginner class with no experience needed. This class combines tumbling and gymnastic skills with the beauty and grace of dance!  The class will work on building basic tumbling skills and dance techniques. By the end of the year, students will have accomplished learning basic skills such as forward and backward rolls, cartwheel variations, handstands, balancing skills, and basic dance technique.

I am so happy to have found Cavod, a place I can trust with the amazing gift of dance as worship and expression of who God made each one to be! Huge thanks to Connie and all the Cavod teachers for being steadfast leaders of the kids and adults in our community who step out and vulnerably to try something new. I’m 51 years old and I decided to try a dance class for the first time: worship dance. My daughter is 18 and she started various dance classes at Cavod when she was 16. Thank you Cavod for welcoming every age group. Thank you for caring about skills and hearts /lives of each dancer.

The best time to register for the school year is between June and August. You will be more likely get your choice of dance classes and you will be able to start at the beginning of the year so you don’t miss any of our great instruction. View our calendar here for more details on when to join.
Well, we don’t have “Performing Arts” in our name for nothing! Dance and Acro classes perform in the Spring Dance Concert in June. In addition to selling tickets to that off-site performance, there is a costume fee due in the fall and we do a fundraiser to help offset the costs for you.

Yes, CAVOD has a dress code for its dance classes. Students are expected to wear appropriate dance attire and shoes, as well as follow specific guidelines for hair and jewelry. View our policy on dress for dance classes here
